Delete your Knox Go account

This page explains how to delete your Knox Go account (in.knoxlearning.go) and the personal data attached to it.

Request deletion from the app

Open Knox Go and go to Profile → Delete account. Confirm the request. Your request reaches the academy office immediately and you will be signed out.

Request deletion without the app

Email [email protected] from the address registered on your account, with the subject “Delete my Knox account”. Include your full name and student or staff ID so we can identify you. If the account belongs to a student under 18, a parent or guardian may make the request.

You can also call the academy office on +91 92881 10034.

What happens next

  • We confirm your identity — this protects you from someone else closing your account.
  • We action the request within 30 days and email you when it is done.
  • Your login is disabled straight away, so no one can access the account meanwhile.

What is deleted

  • Your login and password.
  • Your profile details: name, email address, phone number, address, date of birth and other personal particulars.
  • Your parent or guardian’s contact details.
  • Files you uploaded, and the doubts, comments and feedback you wrote.
  • Your notification device tokens — notifications stop immediately.

What we have to keep

Some records cannot be deleted on request, because we are required to keep them or need them for our own legitimate records:

  • Fee, payment and receipt records, which we must retain for accounting, tax and audit purposes for the period Indian law requires.
  • Academic records — enrolment, attendance and examination results — which the academy keeps as the institutional record of a student’s course, and which may be needed to issue a certificate or transcript later.

Where we retain these, we keep the minimum needed and separate them from your login. They are not used to contact you and are not shared for any other purpose.

If you are still enrolled

Deleting your account removes your access to classes, study material, tests and results in the app. It does not cancel your enrolment or any fees owed — please speak to the academy office about withdrawing from a course.
